Sometimes happiness doesn't come from big plans or grand moments… sometimes it’s just standing outside in the middle of the city and letting the world move around you. Of course, being a woman alone in the city can come with that tiny edge of awareness. You stay alert, you pay attention, you move with confidence because you know you have to. But I don’t let that steal my joy. If anything, it makes these moments even more adventurous, because paying attention to little details of the city helps me find a remarkable gem.

These little street moments make me happy because they remind me that joy doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it’s gentle. Sometimes it’s simple. Sometimes it’s just me, outside, enjoying the day and finding something new! Like a coffee shop. There’s something I really love about these moments — the tall buildings stretching into the sky, people walking somewhere important, the soft breeze brushing by, Even the little sense of being targeted for something devious which gives me a little thrill, sometime a little arousing.
That quiet feeling of being part of everything while still enjoying my own little space. I don’t even have to be doing anything special. Just being here and being targeted feels good.
